Grading Scale and Grades

The grading scale is based on percentages determined from (points earned) divided by (points possible) overall.This grading scale is used beacuse it matches the districy policy, and it will also help prepare students for their futures in high school and college. 

A    90-100%

B    80-89%

C    70-79%

D    60-69%

F    60-0%

For example:

Student A received 200 of the 250 points possible in the class. I will divide 200/250 = .80 = 80% or a B in the class.
